You can measure for tip-to-tip length (overall length), by using a hose, rope or flexible tape measure through the actual intended cable route. See diagram to confirm connection point and travel dimensions for compatibility with your application. Overall Cable length is measured tip-to-tip, from the end of the 10-32 NF rod to the end of wire. You may cut the wire end to your desired final length. Grooved housing on one end; Conduit housing on the other end See Diagram to confirm dimensions and compatibility for your application. Silver Jacket Parachute Type Cable Construction Solid wire core The solid wire core cable is desirable in applications such as a parachute release, or when attachment hardware dictates a wire end. Two popular length options are available to choose from, the final overall length may be altered by cutting the exposed wire end if needed. Fitted with efficient dynamic seals and requiring very little effort; these lightweight cables have a full circle of reinforcement wires to protect and support the inner liner, influencing positive load transfer with minimal lost motion. Rated at 50# pull and 40# push, intermittent loads may exceed these ratings considerably without failure. These recommended load ratings reflect a balance between maximum load and reasonable cable life. These aren’t a flimsy garden equipment control cable that will let you down when you need it the most. The Silver Jacket Premium solid wire core (33 series) parachute cable comes in the trademark silver color - that will complement any paint color scheme. Ideal for any cable operated application that requires pushing or pulling, and very well suited for extreme use environments. This combination should be considered as an upgrade replacement for Teleflex Morse type push-pull control cables. Backed by The Chassis Shop's Satisfaction Guarantee.
