UVI Sparkverb Algorithmic Reverb Plugin
ALGORITHMIC REVERB, REDEFINED Advanced design with stunning sound and CPU efficiency Intuitive controls and ergonomics for phenomenal ease-of-use Randomize, mutate, and explore spa ce between presets for limitless sonic options With a cutting-edge algorithmic design, Sparkverb breaks the boundaries of contemporary reverbs giving users modern and innovative controls that dramatically enhance usability, speed and creative freedom while delivering breathtaking sound quality and remarkable CPU efficiency. Sophisticated Design Enormous sonic range, fast and efficient workflow Easily traverse everything from natural sounding spaces to infinite, shimmering ambiences with stunning depth and fidelity throughout the entire spectrum. This type of range typically implies a dense and complex interface - not in Sparkverb, usability and workflow were pivotal considerations. A great deal of care was taken to allow a high degree of customization with the fewest controls possible, resulting in less time spent searching and more time being productive. At the core of Sparkverb’s interface is a frequency-based spectrum editor ; use it to sculpt and refine your sound with phenomenal speed and control. Adjust decay globally and across multiple bands with hi/lo multipliers and crossovers directly on a single canvas. It’s an entirely new way to work with reverb. All other controls are clearly arranged and labeled, including A/B comparison, making fine-tuning a painless process. Dialing in a reverb, simple or complex, has never been this fast. Sonic Exploration From subtle to radical, or anywhere in-between Sparkverb shines in traditional mixing sessions but was designed to be an exceptionally flexible creative tool as well. Discover new spaces and explore the full range of sonic possibilities effortlessly with built in mutation and randomization controls. These functions are made even more useful by parameter locks available on every control. Experiment within prescribed boundaries such as a fixed mix amount or pitch modulation to find exciting variations that work for your specific need. Another innovative tool comes in the form of the Preset Voyager. At launch, Sparkverb creates a 2-dimensional array of all presets on your machine; simply toggle the Preset Voyager display and click-drag between preset nodes to freely interpolate new settings. Watch controls update in real time to see what’s happening and create new presets to redefine the space - the possibilities are limitless. Extreme Performance Need 400 instances in a PT11 session? No problem. Under Sparkverb’s elegant exterior lays a powerful and extensively optimized DSP engine. Built on UVI’s Parametric FDN engine, Sparkverb can be instanced near-limitlessly. The dramatic performance gives you unprecedented access to Sparkverb’s high- fidelity sound throughout your sessions. Use it on as many tracks and busses as you need without worrying about CPU overload. Additionally you’ll find numerous features which help to make Sparkverb indispensable such as fully continuous parameters; freeze, multiple operation modes, variable densities, unique and decorrelated multi-channel operation, full automation control, advanced diffusion algorithms and tunable modulation for pitch accuracy regardless of scale. Add a generous helping of factory presets and you’ve got a versatile and powerful sonic tool suited for the most demanding live and studio environments. Fast, Versatile, Stunning Exactly how a modern tool should be Whether you’re working with small ensembles, massive orchestras, sound design or anything in-between, Sparkverb offers a unique experience and innovative feature set that helps you work faster, smarter and more creatively than ever before. And more leftfield, out-there reverbs, which allow you to suck snares into a deep hole, or push claps up into the treble ether with no bottom-end in the reverb, are just as achievable." Resident Advisor “Sparkverb is a serious all-rounder, capable of invoking all manner of virtual spaces, from tight ambiences to concert halls and vast ‘deep space’-style effects. And as well as sounding fantastic, it's one of the most immediately creative reverb plugins we've come across to date.” Computer Music “The simplicity of Sparkverb actually helped me to create my own patches and ultimately encouraged creativity. It just goes to show that processors that can produce complex sounds don’t have to have complex controls.” Ask Audio “With its lush, shiny, expansive sound, exemplary ease of us, well-realised feature set and surprisingly low CPU hit, it’s a fabulous reverb.” Future Music "You have a great sounding reverb where you can call up a preset for, say, a great sounding hall and apply it to your mix or you can go in and dial up something really interesting as a special effect or as an integral part in a particular passage of a song." Sweetwater “With 50 seconds of totally smooth reverb time, this is one of the spaciest reverbs I have heard ‘in the box’ in a long time. This reverb can run the gamut from small and plate-ish to big sizzling caverns with just a few tweaks.” Recording Mag “It has depth and richness when needed, but also a nice detailed top end. The decays are smooth and taper nicely even on extreme settings. As a ‘go–to reverb’, Sparkverb is a versatile all–round performer.” Sound On Sound Pro Tools Expert UVI Sparkverb Review “It never sounds artificial. Sparkverb brings a nice dash of a fresh air in a virtual reverb world. In most cases it sounds better than many of the other reverbs that I own or have tried. Only sky is the limit.” SoundBytes User Testimonials “Superb reverb! A must in the studio.”— Margaret H., YouTube “Its CPU efficiency is truly astounding.
