Hey, I’m Peperomia prostrata – but you can call me Lil String of Turtles! I’m known for my tiny, round leaves with an adorable turtle-shell pattern that make me one of the cutest p lants around. My trailing vines grow slowly but steadily, and I’m perfect for adding a touch of greenery to hanging baskets, shelves, or windowsills. I love bright, indirect light and moderate humidity, so keep me in a warm, cozy spot with good airflow, and I’ll thrive. My low-maintenance care makes me perfect for beginners, and the fact that I’m non-toxic to pets and children means I’m a safe addition to any home. I don’t need much water, so let the top of my soil dry out between waterings – overwatering is my enemy. With a little attention, I’ll make your space feel fresh and tropical! Show more
