Item ConditionOur grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.Item DescriptionAny t ime a card says when, whenever or at, Strionic Resonator sees an opportunity. For two mana and a tap, this colorless artifact copies a triggered ability you control, and you may choose new targets for the copy. Spent at the right moment, those two mana turn one big effect into two.The possibilities are what make it such a joy in Commander. Copy an enters-the-battlefield trigger that destroys a permanent or draws cards, double a landfall payoff, repeat an upkeep trigger, or copy your commander's attack trigger for twice the value. Being colorless, it fits in any deck, and the stronger your triggered abilities are, the better it gets. Trigger-heavy decks treat it as a cheap force multiplier that keeps paying off every turn cycle, and it rewards players who love finding clever lines in the middle of combat. This is the Commander 2019 printing, collector number 224, illustrated by Noah Bradley, in non-foil. The card first appeared in Magic 2014, and its flavor text describes tines that only ring in answer to great magical power, a fitting image for an artifact that echoes your biggest effects. Show more
