SuperWire grew out of Formafantasma's experiments with LED technology, and the result is a modular collection that pairs an industrial attitude with timeless design codes. The S3 s uspension stacks hexagonal modules of flat glass panels, joined by polished aluminum elements, into a tall, crystalline column that emits a warm, uniform glow along its entire length.Unusually for an LED fixture, its custom light source can be removed for replacement or repair, reflecting the studio's commitment to longevity and environmental responsibility. Hung on fine steel cables with an integrated dimmer, it makes a striking centerpiece over a dining table, in a double-height stairwell or in an entry. Show more
