DESCRIPTION Acrylic and plaster on canvas | 2021 Inspired by the colorful walls and patterns of Portugal, where Sara Marlowe Hall spent a summer in residency, this new series marks an evolution in the artist’s oeuvre. While in residency at PADA in Barreiro, Lisbon, Hall was inspired by a box of discarded tiles and began creating her own tile-like works. The resulting series is rendered in the muted color palette that surrounded the artist during her residency and serves as tactile memories of her time spent in Portugal. DIMENSIONS 12 x 12 inches AUTHENTICATION Signed by the artist. The work comes with a Certification of Authenticity signed and numbered by the Co-Founder of Tappan Show more
