Vanilla Latte is part of our Artisan Collection — candles made with beeswax and a carefully selected, phthalate-free fragrance oil rather than a single essential oil. We want to be straightforward about that distinction. Vanilla doesn't exist as a pure essential oil that performs reliably in a candle. We won't use an inferior ingredient just because it sounds cleaner on a label. Instead, we spent considerable time selecting a fragrance oil that meets the same standards we apply to everything else in this studio: free of phthalates, free of carcinogens, free of mutagens, free of reproductive toxins, and free of organ toxins. IFRA-compliant. Tested by our supplier as part of their regulatory program. And — the test we always return to — something we'd burn in our own home without a second thought. The ingredient list is longer than our Pure Collection. We will always tell you that, and we will always tell you exactly what's in it. If you have significant fragrance sensitivities or are shopping for a nursery, our Pure Collection is the right choice. For everyone else who wants a complex, warm seasonal scent and trusts us to have done the sourcing work: this is it. Ritual Suggestions: Fall and winter mornings · Reading season · The kitchen on a weekend · Holiday gatherings · The gift that makes a room feel immediately welcoming. Ingredients: Vanilla Latte uses a phthalate-free fragrance oil — not a pure essential oil. We are transparent about this because it matters. The fragrance oil we use is manufactured without phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, or organ toxins. It is compliant with IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines, which represent the most comprehensive fragrance safety standards available. Our supplier provides full Safety Data Sheet documentation, which we review for every oil before it enters our studio. We chose this oil after evaluating multiple options against a simple standard: would we burn it in our own home, without hesitation, in a room our children are in? The answer was yes. That is the test everything in this studio passes before it goes into a candle. Artisan Collection. Beeswax and a phthalate-free fragrance oil manufactured without carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, or organ toxins. The complete list, as always. Show more
