Urban Physicality brings Yuu Udagawa’s subtle, moody deep house to Razor-N-Tape after her appearance on the label’s Family Affair compilation. The Tokyo-based producer develops the originals through dark chords, pulsing drums and chopped vocal samples, letting the layers build gradually rather than pushing towards a quick peak. In Your Eyes and Recollection occupy the first side, with the title track closing the reverse. Takuya Matsumoto supplies the other version of Urban Physicality, giving its textures a tougher rhythmic frame, deeper bass and a more spacious late-night feel. The pairing offers a different angle on the EP’s measured momentum.Format: Gold vinyl 12-inchLabel: Razor-N-Tape ReserveCatalogue number: RNTR084TracklistA1. In Your Eyes (12-inch Mix)A2.
