Founded by the US tycoon John D. Rockefeller in 1870, Standard Oil grew to achieve monopoly status in the US oil market. This plaque displays the Standard Oil logo, featuring the name "Standard" in bold black raised lettering across the middle. The torch in the middle of the logo represents the energy required to thrive, grow, and see into the future. It is believed the red, white and blue colour scheme - handpainted on this plaque - represents alignment with American interests. Coming with two predrilled holes, this plaque can be easily hung on a wall of your choice. The item you see in the photographs is similar to the item you will get - minor variations may occur as the item is hand-painted. Your purchase will be carefully packed and promptly dispatched.
